Apryl Gorton
Apryl has been advocating through volunteer work, teaching, and counseling for over 20 years. She has experience helping couples build strong relationships, teaching behavior management strategies, helping individuals find their voices, coaching communication, and supporting people (and their families) who have struggled medically or emotionally, but now desire a balanced life.
Apryl wants you to know that you are worthy of living a beautiful and balanced life no matter what your past was like. Today is the day to walk in a new direction.
Apryl has been trained in, and uses the elements of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and/or the four components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance and emotion regulation when appropriate. Apryl is experienced, trained, and certified.
