
Are you in a funk? Most people experience this state at some point in their lives, but I’m seeing it a lot more lately.
What is a funk you ask? Well it’s when you feel sad, unmotivated, apathetic, irritable, & lack interest in normal things for a good hot minute. It’s a difficult state to be in, and you may need to give yourself a nudge.
Ok, Coach, how do I move out of this funk? I’m so glad you asked.
Here are some tips:

First, make a small change. Wear a color that you like, but don’t normally wear, change up your breakfast / morning beverage, or change your route to work.

Second, Connect with some new people. Take/join a class like art, improv, archery, martial arts etc.

Third, Take better care of yourself. Practice relaxation activities before trying to sleep like a bath, reading, or listening to music. Drink more water. Eat a little bit healthier than you are now. Walk in nature.
