Women

I remember thinking how much I wanted daughters each time I was pregnant. Daughters can change the world…and they do.

The women I admire are beautiful bulls. Some of these women are like Ferdinand, smelling the flowers and taking in the sun. They are the ones who make life sweeter, more palatable. They are the helpers, the ones we run to when the world is upside down because they are love and safety. These are the strongest women I’ve ever known. They have taken on the work misunderstood.

Some of these women are like Bodacious, the most dangerous bull in the world. They are risk takers, battle fighters, and the ones who feel the most emotional and physical pain.

I am in awe of women; so often misread, underrated, & unseen like the cornerstone of the most important building of your life or the scorpion in your worn-out shoe.
