Let’s talk about CHAOS. Chaos is confusion and disorder, it’s a situation where rules and control often break down leaving a person feeling lost, upended, and sometimes afraid. Chaos is a time when everything seems to happen all at once and nothing feels like it’s where it’s supposed to be. The good news is that chaos can’t sustain and won’t last forever.
Don’t worry, I have some tips to help you ride the wave instead of crashing into the sand.

First, we have to ground. Sit down and drink a glass of water; then put your feet flat on the ground, take a slow breath in and hold the breath before releasing it slowly. This signals to your body that you are safe from immediate danger and regulates your heart rate.

Second, Grab a piece of paper or your journal because we’re going to write in order to claim direction. List all the things that are within your direct influence; then write down three things you can do immediately that will reduce disorder.
Third, Complete the three things that you wrote down.

Forth, Shift your mindset. Before you eat, say aloud three things for which you are grateful. Practice managing your current chaotic situation by making small changes that deflate the chaos. Communicate what is happening to you with friends, family, and colleagues in order to share the load, align priorities, and reduce relationship issues

Lastly, even though its difficult, sleep, eat, move your body, and take a break from distressing news.
I accept chaos, I’m not sure whether it accepts me. – Bob Dylan
